Tropical Pancakes: The Easiest Way to an Island Breakfast

There's something about a stack of warm, fluffy pancakes packed with pineapple, apple, banana, and orange that makes a morning feel like a tropical getaway. Just add water, whisk, and cook, and you've got a breakfast that tastes like a holiday.

Why We Made This

Weekday mornings are busy. Weekend mornings are meant to be enjoyed, not spent measuring out ten different ingredients before anyone's even had coffee. We wanted to create a pancake mix that took away the stress of "from scratch" cooking, without cutting corners on real ingredients.

Our Tropical Pancake Premix brings together pineapple, apple, banana, and orange into a simple base — so all you need to do is add water, whisk, and cook.

Our Tropical Pancake Premix takes the hassle out of healthy breakfasts. There's no fresh fruit to wash and chop, no juggling multiple ingredients, and no guesswork on measurements — just real pineapple, apple, banana, and orange blended into one simple mix. Add water, whisk, and cook, and you've got a wholesome stack the whole family can enjoy without the usual morning effort.

Getting a perfect stack takes just four simple steps:

1

Mix

In a mixing bowl, combine 100g of Trulish pancake mix with 100ml of water.

Whisk

Whisk or stir with a fork until smooth, with no lumps.

Heat the Pan & Pour

Preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium-low heat and lightly grease it. Then pour a portion of the batter into the pan to your desired pancake size.

Cook & Flip

Cook over medium heat for 1–2 minutes, or until golden brown on one side. Flip and cook for a further minute, or until golden brown.

Handy tip: Replace the water with milk for fluffier pancakes, and add a teaspoon of butter to the batter for extra texture.

One 330g pack makes approximately 12 pancakes (10cm each) — plenty for the whole family, or a few mornings' worth if you're cooking for one or two.

Topping Ideas

While the batter already brings the tropical flavour, a few extra touches take it to the next level:

  • Fresh tropical fruit (pineapple, banana, or mango) scattered on top
  • A drizzle of honey or maple syrup
  • A dollop of whipped cream
  • A spoonful of yoghurt for a more balanced, filling breakfast

A Breakfast Worth Waking Up For

Whether it's a slow Sunday morning or a mid-week treat, our Tropical Pancake Premix turns a few pantry staples into something worth gathering the family around the table for. No complicated steps, no long ingredient lists to track down — just real pineapple, apple, banana, and orange in a stack of pancakes that taste like an island holiday.
